On the day of July 5th in the early morning. A fellow Guild Wars player was killed in a single-car accident. He was a personal friend who was the reason I got into Guild Wars. He did not deserve to die. I have seen people die in video games so many times I do not register it, but having my friend die, in real life, and having his charactor never log on again... This happened in WoW and I hope it will happen here. I hope we can get a huge group of people in like Ice Tooth Cave or something to remember this Unique individual. Garth Li we will all miss you. WHY DID YOU HAVE TO GO YOU DID NOT DESERVE THIS! Anyways I hope we can have some sort of in-game feneral or something to remember that killing and death happens in real life and that we do not support it, we just play a game. A game that a fellow player once loved to play. I think this would help him rest at piece. Garth if you are out there man, I am doing this for you. For the people who do not believe me. http://www.paloaltoonline.com/news/s...ry.php?id=3173 is the link to the news article. If we get enough ppl who want to comemorate a great life I think we can make this happen.
A fellow Guild Wars play has left us.

Sorry to say this but your pretty cold hearted.
Let the people that do care show there respects.
You are invited to do so not obligated.
PS: My fullest regret for the loss of a community member.

I expect to be cruising down the highway and just see cars slingshotting off the side

My sympathy for your loss. I know how badly it can feel to never be able to continue the life and adventures you shared with the people you lose. In the coming days, I'm sure many more people will say 'I'm sorry' or other trite phrases that won't bring much comfort. I wish you didn't have to go through that. Remember to tell stories about your friend, and don't forget the lessons you learned from the time you had with him. In your deeds, his memory will live on.
For your own good, please do not try to mark his unfortunate passing in game (in a public manner).
You will find more hurt and anger from what you will see than you will find happiness and closure. The negativity and anonymity brought forth by a virtual community will abhor those who have a real life stake in the event, and you will be outraged at the behavior you will see.
Just friendly advice from someone who has seen it transpire in several attempts at in game memorials - don't.
Best wishes to your friend's family.
