Is ANet working on lag?
Gorebrex
Hope so, because I JUST lag-sold a quest bow in Pre. The Fortitude one, to Vencel in Regent Valley. Hit button to sell a common bow, nothing happened, thought"maybe I didnt click" clicked again, then WHAP! both items gone, on unrecoverable. VERY ticked, as I had intended to use it for pulling in post.

That is usually user side lag. Has happenede to me before. Just 2 days ago I sold 107 ecto to the merchant this way, form a lag spike. Also to be noted, it was the only spike I had that evening, so I doubt it was nothing ANet could handle. As of right now, to my knowledge, they are no issues, aside from the accidental bans.

Im pretty sure it wasnt me, as I have an excellent connection, as seen here

This is a test I just ran, located in north Sweden

I almost never lag in games, it may have been a spike. However, I feel that a cnfirmation dialog(similar to the one used when selling a high value item of ~100g value) for quest rewards, would be an excellent addition to prevent this from happening to someone else in the future.

how many times have you seen the warning not to click again if nothing happens instantly?
how many times have you seen *PUT THE SPECIAL ITEMS IN THE BELT POUCH FOR SAFETY?*
how many times have you seen put an unsellable quest item as a protection against just that happening.
sorry but being super careless/impatient doesnt rate adding another layer of clicks for comfirmation to everybody else

Never, and it WAS in the belt pouch
Never, but wouldnt matter, because I didnt have any
No, not careless/impatient(hell, Im probably one of the most patient people you could meet(try taking care someone with Alzheimers for 10 years). No, I only tap the button, as I was worried if I press it, it may dounble click, like holding down a keyboard key. I thought maybe I hadnt made contact, which is why the second click. And just how is "adding another layer of clicks for comfirmation to everybody else" such a bad thing, considering its for items people may want to hold on to for awhile, as well as it being only one extra click, for items of some signifigance. Cant understand why you think its so awful to be have a little extra protection.

Edit: WOOOT! Got to run quest with someone who had a purple, and didnt need quest bow! X100!!!
