i'd strongly reccomend disrupting blow and disrupting chop since you said you want to stay axe-based. but in all honesty, you shouldn't just force yourself to be a certain kind of ranger. rangers are (imo) the most versatile class there is. a problem many rangers have is the concept of the considering barrage a 'fix-all' skill and use it as a tack-on when its not necessary. Simarily, you seem to enjoy your axe when not necessary. you have to be careful about the kind of builds you're using and you should know about what's needed before you make your skillbar. glint calls for interuption, yes i've named two interupts for you. you could even bring in the shove (elite) if you have it for 3 interupts, but even then, disrupting chop takes 6 adrenaline which is a disadvantage compared to a bow-interupt like savage shot, or disrupting shot. shove is great, but you'd have to use it after disrupting chop because you lose all adrenaline. disrupting blow is good, except it has a 10 second recharge, which is still longer than savage shot. Yes, disrupting blow has the same recharge as distracting shot, but distracting shot is still better because it disables the skill for an additional 20 seconds. therefore, i'd strongly reccommend using bow interupts. heres a quick pure ranger build for you,
Expertise: 13 (10+3+1)
Wilderness Survival: 10 (9+1)
Marksmanship: 13 (12+1)
(Estimated attributes, I don't think these are accurate but they may be)
Punishing Shot {Elite} (Marksmanship)
Read the Wind (Marksmanship)
Savage Shot (Marksmanship)
Distracting Shot (Expertise)
Troll Unguent (Wilderness Survival)
Serpent's Quickness (Wilderness Survival)
Whirling Defense (Expertise)
Resurrection Signet
obviously this is a pure interrupt build, as i always have fun interrupting. just use read the wind and serpent's quickness before a fight and have fun interrupting. you can either actually try to interrupt or you can spam interrupts up until glint as with serpent's quickness and 3 interrupts you'll have one ready the majority of the time. when you get to glint you probably shouldn't spam them and if you choose to spam them, at least save one for crystal hibernation. you may just be surprised what good interrupting can do for a group. if your really confident in your skills and feel like recieving praise for them, just move your mouse over where your enemy's activity bar (or whatever its called where you see what skills they are using) while holding ctrl. then just click the skill she uses and then press the hotkey for your interrupt to show off your contributions to the group...but if you doubt your skills at interrupting just do it silently as you'll likely tick off some people if you call them out but still miss. have fun and goodluck, i trust you'll take my advice since you seem pretty desperate for a build and i just spent the time to help you
