So i recently got my minipet from my 12 moth as a birthday present (bone dragon) and posted about it this thread: http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...3070889&page=3
Now that was maybe a few days/week ago.
Been playing assin mostly since i just bought factions, and decided to want to play with my warrior some.
I open my main invetory bag, and i saw my minature was gone(no bone dragon) and a new present box here.
So basically i'm thinking (WTF!!!!), you can tell how =( i am right now.
And no i wasn't dreaming when i got my bone dragon, for those of you that will flame/make a joke.
Has anyone else encountered this? Was there a rollback i dont know about? Glitch in the system?
Any way of possibly getting my minipet back. =/

So that means i had gotten my present while still a tyrian character sitting in the logbase/player accounts for anet.
I buy factions, make a new char, assin. Got bored so decided to log onto my exsiting 4 chars (first one my warrior), has total of 13 months on it.
I open present (yay bone dragon!!!111!!!) , go outside look at it, then put it away.
Decide to go play with my assin again, logged out for the night after playing for another hour or so.
Fast forward a few days, log back into gw, play with assin a bit, got bored being stuck at zen juin mission or w/e, log back into warrior ( notice bone dragon minipet is gone) decided to open it, and out comes a temple guardian.
So something went wrong on anets end, and screwed up (my minipet).

They can't replace your bone dragon, most they'd do is say sorry for the inconvenience.

Email support and tell them the new bday present deleted the current mini pet. That's the only way they'll ever know about the situation to try and fix it. >.>

Oh a little info i forgot to add, i had recently made a w/r pvp only character the night before. If that adds to it.

Sadly, there's nothing they can and will do for you.
And by the way, same thing happend to me except that I had a Necrid Horseman and then I logged out and back in and found that the Horseman was gone and got a present instead and got a Jade Armor out of it.

You got a bone dragon from somewhere... Another character's b-day or you bought it. Doesn't matter. You had a bone dragon. Then, you put the Bone Dragon on your Warrior character, who hadn't yet had a b-day. When his b-day came, the present you got for your warrior erased your bone dragon? That certainly sounds like a glitch if that was the case. If not, I don't know what happened and I'm still confused.

no, I think he got the BD from the w's bday, and then it was like the w had a second bday

The person i qouted i got right. And as for trading it, my ranger got a fungal wallow, and my necro got a hydra, and now my "rerolled" warrior now has a temple guardian. Hopefully this doesnt happen to my hydra cause i like it.
I did actually move the bone dragon to another invetory bag when i got it, but didn't put it in my storage box or move it to another character. And when i saw the "rerolled" present box, it was in the same invetory slot when i first oppened it to get my bone dragon.
Anyways, i did email support, hopefully they get to me in a day or 2.
I wonder if gaile has seen this thread yet.
Best bet like someone else said, if you just happend to log onto guildwars after a long time of not playing (for me it was like 6 months) and just installed factions to play again, put your minitures in storage or move them between characters.
I will definetly let you know if it happens to my other characters, guarantee you that.

There was actually one time where the presents came out too early, and they fixed it by removing them. It was a glitch that let the mini pets out early for those that had their accounts during beta. I searched for the thread, but its long gone. Could this have been your problem?

Quite possibly, as i explained, i hadnt played gw for about 6 months ( and my birthday present had been sitting on my character for a logn time), but i highly doubt that was the case, because all the posts were from pre-searing.
