the idea

use deadly riposte>AP>riposte>dolyack>atack/heal>and repeat


note i might not need to heal in the begining... but you should only take around 1-3 hits the whole fight.. AP should regen ur riposte

Wow....i made almost the same but better...didnt think anyone else would think of it...the build is only good for scrimmage matches...1vs1 with warriors only..but i called it a cheating build if u going 1vs1 with warriors only =]

had me thinking you had a tank that won't lose to a touch ranger.

touchers=easy to kill by pretty much any class. Unless your build is extremely mediochire, or you have multaple touchers on you. 1v1 touchers are seceptable to pretty much any tactics usable. W/Mo with a decent build>touchers any day.

Ya know i was in an argument with a warrior who said that riposte builds were better than any build that actually uses strikes with a weapon.

The thing is...you can damage a warrior with riposte builds until he goes to a new target because he cant hit you....but you can't do almost any damage to casters.....with a regular build using the hits of your weapon you can do damage to pretty much anything. (with lotsa exceptions)

But the fact remains, that touching someone is still in melee. Riposte triggers on physical melee attacks, not everything close by, meaning it won't trigger on touches or on IW mesmers.

It triggers on Illusionary Weapons.

what is a counter war/x build to OP's build?

W/N virulence with Hamstring. Then run away and distract his heals.

Also W/Me with Sypathetic/Ancestor's Visage would pwn the sauce.
