I've spent some hours looking around for a build for rangers (sec profession dosent matter) that could solo the monsters in The Eternal Grove, and also solo the two monk bosses The Scar Eater and Jayne Forestlight.

Does a build like that even exist??

Edit: a build allowing you to use a minimum number of henchmens would be great too

Urban, that has no relevancy to what we're discussing.

I don't know of any builds to solo the place. From your post I take it as The Eternal Grove and not the mission. I do know of a build to solo the Monk boss, but it is for Mo/Es. http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s....php?t=3070355

oh dear - someone just had a thought and figured - "best write that down!"

To continue with the topic of discussion - I fail to see how anyone can think of trying to do that on their own. Surely you'd get swamped. I tried edge walking it with henchmen - that was hard enough. Mind you, before someone jumps in, I realise henchmen are stupid, and think with their fists and in no way do what you're madly telling them to do by drawing on the map!

I'd suppose R/Me could solo Jayne atleast same way W/Me does it, Spirit Shackles to drain him, and careful pulling. Problem would be in running through the Warden warriors that use knockdowns without Balanced Stance, but thenagain, I didn't need BS every time when I pulled Jayne either, on my W.

It might be little easier on Ranger than on warrior actually, if the pulling is successful since you don't have to walk so close to Jayne to kill him (thus risking the wandering mobs aggroing) Self healing might be bit troublesome, I suppose. My ranger is a low-level sillywilly.
