After a 3-4 hour Urgoz farm we had a monk with us collecting a nice supply of gold drops along the way, We all thought he was a very lucky guy. After the long hard fight and 3 quitters later we finnaly killed Urgoz and to our suprise all Green drops went to the monk.

This really annoyed me after all that time we spent in there. I want to know is this a case of a guy hacking as was said or just A.net ruining the drops again. The icing on the cake was they guy was not happy with the drops like he knew he was getting them all. So enought ranting my question is

1. Is their such hacks or cheats in GW.
2. Will A.net ever use admins like other games to combat the scamming and bots in GW.(a list of common scams isnt enough when most ppl dont use forums for a while after getting the game)

I think that is just really lucky guy, and you dont always know how good golds are so they may have been crap (i get tons of crap golds). Multiple greens from a elite mission= set for life in my world though.

GW is server side it cant be hacked in such away without them knowing

the bot problem is being dealt with, only dumb/ignorant ppl get scammed..

1 the whole thing is server side so no to the hacks.

2 luck of the drops and some people are never happy with what they get.

other than luck, what evidence do you have that this guy had hax? None? You want us to magically determine exactly what was going on here when you've provided no evidence? How the hell do we know?

Sounds like you are frustrated and made a quick post without putting much thought into it.

Hypothetically, if I was on an Urgoz run, and some guy seemed a little too cocky, and predicted he'd get all the drops, and said he had a little extra help or knowledge or even hinted he was using a 3rd party program, I'd be suspicious.....THEN. But if it's a random run and someone gets lucky without you knowing absolutely anything else, then swallow your pride and go do another run.

yea.. i was in fow today and someone got 6 shards, 1 ruby, and a gold chaos axe.. and only 1 other shard dropped for someone else, thats pretty annoying

Yep, I've been in FoW where one person gets all the shards and nobody else gets any. People get really pissed off and leave because "the lamer" is "hogging" all the drops, like it is his fault he got lucky this time.

It also depends on how many times he's been in there.
On my second smite run with my monk I got 6 ectos reserved to me and just 1 ecto reserved to the other guy. 50/50 policy sucks eh?

speaking of dry seasons... i've seriously have been getting only straws from Deep chests. I watched jsut about everyone pulled out a zodiac sword or bow today. I haven't gotten a green drop from that jerk Kanaxai in awhile...

PS: that 2 green drop for 1 person is lame. someone needs to fix that crap. i'm bitter as hell.

I did a couple of Tombs runs this weekend. The first run I got 2 ectos & 3 greens (crap greens, tho) - they were the only ectos that dropped. The second run, a few hours later, I got the only 2 ectos that dropped again, but no greens.

Now, I'm going to tell you the secret for being the only one in the party to get any ectos. I'm guessing that you're all sitting down as you ready this, because it's a very shocking little secret.....

he is just lucky i think... i had 5 gold drops in 2 hours a couple of days ago. (i didn't had any gold drop for more then a month, so i was extremly happy). It were all crappy golds that i could sell by a merchant for only 70 gold or something, but still i was happy

I have been that lucky also with my monk several times even to see someone rage quit but I have also watched it happen to my wife and others several times. Most of the time its spread out a little more even. I think that its truly random and every dog has his day. I have always had the better drops on the pugs groups where I have to work the hardest to keep people alive. My ranger seems that way also but in an offensive way.
