Where did you lose survivor?

*cough* my necro's my oldest character *cough* Yea, I was refering to back when I started playing

My mesmer died in Zen Daijun mission. We had a very nasty healer, who was constantly telling us that he wasn't healing us anymore, because we were stupid. At the endboss I was the last one standing and couldn't stop laughing. The healer was asking me to rez him so we could finish it. I killed one of the two bosses but at the last one I lost it. I was laughing so loud that I just kept on spamming backfire on him (I believe he was a ranger). I was laughing so terrible, that I couldn't rez my mates anymore and not kite either. I just killed myself laughing, all because everybody was so funny. They just kept on killing themselves, and they all thought that they were following some kind of strategy
Angry healers are so funny. Especially when they shout not to heal anymore

I needed another 170k for Indomitable title for my Rit. Was doing Ice Caves with a team of hench. I had completed the mission earlier with no hitches (with hench), but a bug at the gate messed up chances for the bonus. Completed the mission and figured I'd return for bonus later. Second go around, which I should have put off until after I'd been infused, is where it all came to an end. Got to the same gate, cleared the 3 Mursaat guarding it, and a number of jade armours and mantle on the other side. Things were going very smoothly. Returned with explosives to open the gate. I noticed the red dots on the other side, but they were some distance away, so placed the explosives. Spectral agony killed my toon at the same time the explosives went off. I just sat there staring at my screen.
I would like to thank ANet for the initial bug that forced me to re-do this mission/bonus in the first place. But I kick myself for not having gone on ahead to complete Iron Mines before attempting to re-do the damn bonus. The 1k experience was hardly worth it, considering the cost.

ETA: Going after the title was one of the only things that kept me interested in playing GW. I'm trying to decide whether I should restart this character and try again, or simply shelve GW and try another game.

I don't even think I made it to 10,000 exp before one of the early bosses around Shing Jea killed me

I hate that boss! he is almost impossible without max AL
I remember trying over and over getting 600+ dmg on one hit.

i lost the survivor title for my new assassin and ritualist while farming for the tengu mask before i even heard of the title :S

That PvP thingy when you're leaving pre-searing. After that I stopped even trying with other characters. I'm pretty sure I would have popped some crucial vein in my head by now otherwise.

Lost it when Minister Cho asploded. Killed me instantly.

i'd like to say the following:

i've never lost surivor, i got 1.3 mil xp to earn the legendary survival title and then i thought that it would be best for me to let my vampiric weapon kill me.

...but thats not the case...

i had 5 characters already when they came out with the titles, my 6th was my monk...i decided to keep him tyrian. i thought it was a great idea to keep him in pre-searing until he was rather high...so i helped heal warriors charr farming for easy xp and got away with out a death...then a guildie had to make a new character as well and wanted to go into the the catacombs...we got lost and i had never been in this part of the catacomb's...i saw some kind of mine and a devourer try to come towards us that we aggroed...it died...i still went forward anyways...GG

During a cutscene in the first mission at Shing Jea... we were getting hit hard and one kid insist on watching minister cho turn into a big angry monster.... i am still bitter about it till this day.

I can't remember where my mesmer was but he was created in the first week of factions so I don't think I realized the survivor title existed yet.

My elementalist (at least this reroll) was done in by the Naga Ritualist boss in Haiju. She got spirit rifted just as the boss died. To reroll or not, that is the question.

On my first attempt that got me too.

My second attempt - that spot got me too.

Third time was the charm. Finally made it.

Well, my necro got the survivor title and two kills later got killed by a well timed dual dragon stomp from our friends the Jade Brotherhood... I didn't see them, but they sure saw me - so there went the second tier of survivor.

I've seen this survivor title really as a challenge of my patience since I am not a patient one at all. So when I realised at lvl4-5? that my first ranger ever hadn't died yet I thought to go on with the survivor, not restarting if she dies but trying not to [And few other members doing the survivor in the guild gave some inspiration too, actually one of them is almost at Legendary - fingers crossed] And finally yesterday I got the title. The last quest was really nice, gathered some guildies to help with (mostly henched and pugged till lvl 20). But then I decided to suicide 'cause I really want to ranger around without being constantly tense about dying. And really the worst death definitely would have been to be finished off by some afflicted in the slum of the city:S

So went back to Shing Jea, got a nice view by the sea, some friends and Elswyth's Recurve Bow. And simply died.
And then a nasty mesmer kept putting Vengeance on me over and over again

Heh a friend told me about this thread, yeah I'm another one rolled over by that Rit by Zen Daijun... omg that hurt, I had OK but certainly not max armor (35 or 45) still being island-bound. To that point I hadn't been breaking a sweat. Put 'Sentimental Treasures' on the 'to do later' list.
