If I'm from Europe, will I get a better ping time being on the European servers?
Also, Is there a way to see the ping time in game?
And why you can switch between European and American servers only 5 times? And will this counter be reset after release date?
European vs. American servers

PING
no you will be automatically put on the closest/least crowded/fastest server in the network for where you are

The best you get is go International on the Servers.... My understanding was that the servers are localized by country.... Your best servers will be in EU.

Hmm... anybody know if the counter will be reset after launch? It's important to me. And how to see the ping?
Thanks,

And in general, am I supposed to have better ping time / latency to "European" servers?

alpha testers have found no noticible difference between where you are and any lag issues
best i can say is that there seem to be few problems and most of those seem to be isp related to the customer

It's like this - when you make a party and enter a mission/explorable area, then the instance runs on the servers that's best for the majority of the party.
So if you are in a party with many US people, you all play on the US server - and it could get a bit laggy for you. And if you choose the American world, you'll mostly play with US people.
From my expirience (most of my Alpha time I playend on the US servers, we've got the EU servers not so long ago), the difference is small, almost unnoticeable, but there is always a chance that there will be some lag betwwen US and Europe.

Might put up with the lag if it means that english will be the primary language
