Percentage of Gold Drops

Ok, i have a friend that knows how many golds are supposed to drop when you kill a certain amount of creatures. Such as 1/15 for avicara and 1/60 for trolls. Does anyone know where to find info like this or did he just make those numbers up?

well it could be that he just farmed a lot and calculated those things. he killed a lot of avicaras and counted them. then he divided the number of gold by the avicara. what came out is that in the hwole every avicara drops 15g. its not like evrey avicara will drop 15g, but one drops 60 one drops 0 one drops 30...

In which case he would be quoting his own luck in the random draw that is the drop system, which would have absolutely no benefit to the OP.

Yes, 1 in every 15 drops are supposed to be gold. The first time i farmed avicaras on the 15th a gold dropped. But i didnt get another gold till the 52.

And that's the random system. Nearly every monster in the game has a random chance of dropping gold items, and it'll be different for each player due to A) how often you've farmed that area recently, B) the area that you're in (extremely low chance of rares from any monster in the Southern Shiverpeaks, for instance), and C) blind, dumb luck.
