Undead Horde quest bugged?

Did undead horde quest 4 times today. Now I haven't done this since not too long after release so maybe I'm forgetting some things but I remember all you ahd to do was stand near the entrance and fight off the wave upon wave of undead, then it is done and you go back to zone.

Unfortunatly eveyr time I do this the waves stop coming after the 3rd or 4th one, but no quest update either. I did a bit of exploring and coudln't find any undead but I remember just standing near the zone line for the quest. anyone else having probelms with this quest?

I had this problem too I found that part of the last wave actually doesn't come out. if you head out a little ways, you should be able to find them, they are smoke phantoms or something

Haha i did this today too. On my second time i walked down a little farther and there was the last group. It doesnt come to you.

We had this problem about a week ago. We did it 3 times until we finally went searching and saw the last group waiting. I don't remember it being like that initially.

What I was wondering was if it had to do with timing. I originally did it with henchmen and it was difficult to kill each wave in a timely manner. I even died and ressurected a twice during it.

This time we had 4 players (two at Lvl 20) and 2 henchmen and we were able to destroy the undead pretty easily. I was thinking we might have killed them too quickly and the last group was on a timer and would not show up until a certain amount of time had passed. Not sure if this is the case but it seemed like it might be what is happening.

to add on, if you think you've killed all the groups and your quest hasn't updated, explore a little firther to the right at the T in the path. Often times a smoke phantom is hiding in the ground and will pop up once you're close enough.
