Do Barrage Rangers work in PvP

I was wondering....is barrage useful in PvP? Ive heard alot of criticisms about it being crappy..have yet to heard anything good about it..what are ur views?

In theory, it shouldn't work, as no one should be bunched up enough to make barrage effective. In practice, I would rather have Poison Arrow then barrage, as it would be more effective, as the only ones who really bunch up are the few warriors, where Poison Arrow is still more effective, as it ignores armor.

Stick to another elite in PvP, but Barrage is useful in PvE.

This should be in the strategy section, not the build section.

While the Aoe Damage is neglectible in Most PvP Situations. The Bonus I see for this skill in PvP is not that AOE, But rather the 5 Energy cost. Though in the same Markmenship line there are both Hunters and Determined shot that do about the same dmg for the same 5 energy.

Have to consider that unless your team is focusing on Mass Dot/Hex/Curse'
The extra damage to outside Foes does not show much worth.
