Smite runs?

What is a Smite run? I am a reg FoW tanker but i have yet to learn what a Smite run is. Can anyone help me out?

well i wana know yo because i wana make a smiter to do farming i wouldl ike to know were to farm with him also

Underworld is where u kill smite for their eternal drops

eternal drops is that the sheild like do u get alot of gold and items from underworld?

The Smite run is a part of the Underworld quest where u go through and clean out all of the smite crawlers in a part of the map. Usually good drops, eternal bows and shields, ecto..etc...but my luck lately has been awful with drops. And I guess schools have stopped teaching the run on sentence. :P

So its like a Drake run but with level 28 monsters and better drops?

Yeah...the eternal shield is the kinda transparent blue shield u may have seen people with. As for the drops, they I think the drops in fissure are better, but thats open for debate...I just haven't done really well there, but I admittedly have done fissure much more.

Yeah....well kinda. The drake runs lately haven't been much for drops for me. Not since the last update anyway. There are quests there also, just like fissure of woe, that give tons of exp. but the smite run itself is just for farming.

ok and wat kind of skills should i use and wat secondary profession should i be?

I usually do smite runs with 5-6 people. Now this is where everyone flames me for my mix..hehe..but I usually take my WN, a healing e/mo, another monk, a trapping ranger, and another tank and nuker. sometimes im the only tank. depends on the group. I'm also a big fan of warriors endurance...as an axe warrior i can really spam adrenaline and 5 energy skills like power shot, cyclone axe, etc with the energy bonus it gives me, and I always seem to have enuff energy for the emergency soul feast if the monks lose track of me for a bit.

are smiters good for farming anywere?

No, its not smiters as in smiting monks.

The enemy is called "Smite Crawler". When a group goes to the Underworld for the purpose of framing these it is called a smite run.

The kind of smiters you are probably thinking about are only effective against undead.

Yeah...I was disappointed with this run. It used to be good, but now all that drops is non-max weapons you could find in the northern shiverpeaks and the ocassional phantom residue.
I usually go on 4-man smite runs with my guild. Works well, but only if the drops were better..
