Fame in GvG

Basically my idea is just as the title states. I would like to see fame given out for GvG battles just as it is given out in the Tombs. Personally i have around 250 fame right now but i know a lot of the people in my guild and a lot of people in other guilds have been doing the GvG stuff a lot. Now if you go into the Tombs people are requiring you to be rank 3 or higher to get into groups. I see this as being a little unfair to those people that like to do the GvG stuff because it effectively takes them out of consideration in the eyes of decent groups. The way the two types of PvP are set up are relavtivley similar to eachother in the way people use their builds and set up certain plans.
So my Idea is to make it so after every win you get in GvG battles get a set amount of fame based on your rank. The higher ranked guilds get say 5 fame for a win whereas the lower ranked ones get like 2. Now I'm just throwing numbers around here but you get what I'm saying. Just make it so it stays worth it to keep doing it.
It should kind of work like the faction thing is now. The title of the game is Guildwars after all but all the stuff to show how good you are in game is done through the tombs stuff. I love to do both things but I know a lot of people that dont like to.
Let me know what you think about this (BTW for all you people that are going to say dont worry about showing how good you are. Please dont even post)

Seeing that I do almost no tombs, and a lot of GvG, this would be a welcome feature to me .

it actually wont work like the faction thing because the faction thing is pretty much has a timeline (lifespan of how many items unlocked until they all are) as where this is timeless. So the only thing i see posing a problem is ... as time grows .. that Rank 3 mandatory to get into a PUG will also rise while the consensus of the pvpers gain their ranks.

The lower ranks could actually form parties together to grow with other lower ranks. Same as those rank 3 guys are not getting in with the rank 6 teams. May seem unfair but it is just like having 1 child 3 years before the next. They will mature at different times and it will always be difficult to get that littlle 8 year old timmy into a group of 11 year olds.

For your exact reason I try to go to districts where the group spamming is minimal and have next to no problem finding a group. I havent gotten to heavily into the tombs yet but I have won a whole 10 or 20 battles lol. So i know I have alot to learn still, and such I realize that a player who wants to cut to the chase and head for the hoh will likely not spend any time dragging some dead weight around to get there.

Dont get me wrong I do like your idea of adding Fame to Guild victories ... but just keep in mind that regardless of fame their will always be a bigger shark tank out there that your less likely to well survive in ... so to speak.

I understand that there will always be higher ranked players. I was just thinking about all the people that may like to GvG more than Tombs, because when they do go in there they will not get into any decent groups. Whereas if you get Fame 2 ways it makes grouping a little easier. The two forms are fairly similar so its just like doing the tombs....well for the most part.

Fame is supposed to be a measure of personal experience. Guild rating is supposed to be a measure of guild experience. Thus, they are separate.

I understand the point where a person thinks that HOH and GvG should be kept seperate whereas the level of competiton is different. Of course, I don't seem to share this same point of view. With the current infostructure that guilds possess, I don't really see it as much more than a Friend list where the people share a Tag name or a extra PVP Feature (Best part :P). I add people who I find mature and good at what they do to my friends list as they do me, allowing parties to be significantly easier to form rather than starting one from scratch. I feel that whispering one of those people are in many ways similar to shouting "WHO WANTS TO GVG?" in my guild chat. The level of competition is similar or possibly even harder at times. I'd enjoy gaining fame for my GvG even if it's 1 per match. All & all, i support the idea.
