ok i found every other collector that had gear. I looked high and low and off the beaten path and i could not find a collector that had the helm. I am a warrior/monk and i was wondering if anyone had luck finding him/her?

There are no collectors that supply headgear in pre-sear Tyria. You'll have to wait until crossing over to post-sear.
