Question about spells

So I'm a level 4 elementalist/necromancer and I've got the 8 spells that I guess are defaulted in the middle bottom of the screen, but the question I have is.....since I have these other necromancer spells how do I switch them around or use them for that matter.

I have the one where you can summon minions and I have no clue how to use it.

Can anyone help me? Please?

When in town, open the window which lists all your skills and drag a skill from there to your skill bar. You can only use those 8 skills when you enter a zone where you fight stuff.
