Everyone knows you can tame one way late in the game as a level 20, but I have also read you can tame a level 5 one in Maguuma somewhere.
Anyone have any tips on the location or how to tame it here?
Where can I charm a spider in Maguuma?

You can only tame a spider in the Underworld.

Yeah thats the only spider ive heard of. Only spiders ive seen in maguuma or those stupid ones that come out from the trees and poison you. Hate those things.

They say it was possible to tame moss spiders in pre-searing at some point during beta. No, you can't tame them anymore.
But that's probably where you got the idea.

No, I know you can't tame the moss spider in pre searing. No, I am not talking about the widow in UW.
According to this thread Pet Listings ----- There is a widow in maguuma -- and according to another thread I won't search for now it is level 5 not 20.. but as to where exactly to find it....

The only way to get a spider is to go to Uw, and charm the Black Widow there.

That site is this same site and the thread is less than two months old. It would be logical to find a widow there and it was probably put in that list for some reason. I would like to be sure that it was removed if it was and I will do an exhausting search of the area if needed (when I get around to it). Maguuma is a big area with spots the average player will not visit, so maybe it is hiding somewhere.
Still hoping someone knows..Is there anything listed in the Prima Guide or something?
