Can W/Mo maintain protective bond?

While you manitain this "Enchantment," target ally cannot take more than 5% damage at one time. When Protective Bond prevents damage, you lose 3 Energy or the spell ends.

You better check the ingame description, I think it may be slightly different.

No, that's the right description, and to answer your question it would be very difficult for a wamo to keep this up. Only having two pips means he could prot bond and essence bond the same target, negating one of the energy losses, but it still wouldn't last, as you'd be at 0 pips. If you didn't run with essence bond, and therefore lost 3 every time prot bond went off, the character you maintaned it on would have to get hit only once every 9 seconds for you to break even (at one pip after having one enchantment), and therefore it's unreasonable. You're better off with life bond, most wamos can spare the pip, and it can still protect a monk fairly well.

Bonetti's would be the way to go. 75% chance to block attacks and each melee block gives you 5 energy.

Then get an upgrade with double adreneline on hit (10% chance at best though). That or a Zealous upgrade.
Full Gladiator's set (+8 Energy).
Since you won't be taking a lot of damage, use Frenzy inbetween Bonetti's when they're needed. You could also sacrifice a shield for a monk focii (or whatever they're called) for more energy.
Cyclone axe/Hundred Blades for multiple hits. Would also work great with a Zealous upgrade.
"For Great Justice!" shout (double adreneline for 15 seconds).
I wouldn't use Essence Bond since Balthazar's Aura does the same thing but also gives adreneline when you're hit.

Ah, he means to protective bond himself... I assumed he meant to cast in on a monk so as to reduce the damage they'll inevitably be taking.

Well, it's not totally clear, but both uses are definitely interesting.

I'm a W/Mo16 and I got Protective Bond from killing a boss and using Sig. of Capture. I maintain it too on everyone.
