Alright.... i'm new to this place but i saw some people wanted a monk for damage? Well, I do have a PvP monk configuration that works very well..... it's a bit suicidal, but if done right you can take out half the other team before you die. ^^
Smiting Prayers - 12 + 1 (for now)
Swordmanship - 9
Protection Prayers - 9
Divine favor - 3 + 1
Skills -
Balthazar's Aura
Symbol of Wrath
Smite
Zealot's Fire
Smite Hex
Bane Sigent
Balthazar's Spirit
Shield of Regeneration (for a bit more survivol)
or
Any of Rez spell you like
or
Divine Intervention
Armour -
Zealots Scalp (+1 Smiting)
Judges Vestment and Pants (Silk set also works)
Ascetic's Arm and Foot Design
Sword - PvP Sword of Enchanting (this is very important)
(Enchamnets last 20% longer)
Any Icon works that gives energy in the Protective field =)
Now, to start off, cast bal's Spirit to gain Energy when hit.... then when you are near your enemy, engage Zealot's Fire. Zealot's Fire will cause all enemy's around you 40 damage each time you use a skill, and it last 60 seconds =).
Once Zealots' fire is up, proberly a warrior or 2 will be running towards you thinking you the healer.... that's when you rape them. When they get close enough for AoE, use Bal's Aura (remember, you also have Zealot's Fire up, so +40 even before AoE starts!), and also Symbol of Wrath.
Depending on what happens next will determine what you use.
If the melee is a warrior and he is quickly nearing half health, use Smite (+40 or so damage plus 20 or so more if he is attacking) and then Bane Signet to make him stay if he gets scared of your divine power of kicking his butt =).
If the melee is halfway dead, but you need some extra health... you should have enough energy build back up for SoR. Before you use it though, use Bane Signet to make the warrior(s) stay, or whatever you are fighting.
Ofcourse, if the person ues a Hex on you.....Smite Hex is there to make them pay. I have killed many a person when in desperation they use a degen - regen spell on me and I smite Hexed it on them (for a nice 75 dmg. mind you) :P.
There is a disadvantage to this build though.... mainly being you will proberly die if you don't have a healer on your team. Also between Bal's Aura and Symbol of Wraith's charge times and energy demends, you may be left without any major damage spells for a bit. It also takes a very good player to make this work, but if you do it right.... it's one deadly monk damage build to deal with.
Mo/W Smite Configeration

But doesnt Monk/Ele's
Ele/Monk are main smiter builds
they have high amount of energy to do massive AoE with smite spells and they have ether renewal/aura of restoration would they?

Smiting is only good in pvp when they can't run away (like holding the altar).
Those warriors should go after another target and ignore you while another teamate snares you.(I'm assuming you are talking about 4v4)

This build doesn't make any sense to me. Maybe it's cause I'm a noob.
Mo/W? What's your warrior skill? Swordsmanship? You're going to swing a sword? Why? Why use a weapon without any skill to back it up? Why bother?
Those 9 points in Swordsmanship are far better off in Divine Favor or rather Healing Prayers to buff Restore Life at least.
Might want to bring Spell Breaker {E} in case a Rend is coming your way.

Yup, smiters are good when attacking the altar in HoH or KotH, but in anything else, they can be avoided far too easily to pose any threat.
