Can Wingblades be dyed?

I have this gold Wingblade and everytime a try to dye it with any colour is never works and the dye remains in my inventory. I am able to double click the dye and the click on my weapon and then the "dying sound" goes but the dye still remains. Also i tried to use the dye remover and the same thing happens. Is this a glitch ?

I think dying non-armor items is still a work in progress for GW. There were reports of bug fixes of this issue in several items.
I think ur best chance lies in reporting the issue by using the support page of GW, and wait till they release a patch that will allow u to dye it.

I have one of those huge long blades (not sure the name) but when I dye it, it uses the dye but the weapon doesnt change colors. The icon in my inventory gets dyed though. Also I have a canthan targe shield (because I preordered) and I can dye the icon for that, but the item itself is always red.
