Has PvE gotten too easy?

Maybe it's just me and the character choices i've made but every subsequent PvE char, after the 1st, i've made it's felt easier and easier to do the various missions and quests.

With my 1st char (N/W) some of the missions on the way to LA were quite an effort (Dukes Daughter and Altheas ashes in particular) but every time i've since done them it's been a walk in the park really.

I've taken to solo'ing with my latest char (an E/Mo) to keep things interesting for myself. Has anyone else noticed this or is it just that i've gotten a bit of experience and know how to do things?

Try doing FoW or Uw, those will be probably be a challenge for you. It is getting easier because you are getting more experienced, and know more than you did when you were on your first character.

The first time is always the most difficult because you must "discover" what works and what doesn't.
To keep things fresh, I never play the same class combination twice, and I try to find new ways to defeat monsters as well.
It's rather boring to simply use the "rinse, lather, repeat" method that so many here crave to get them through the game ASAP.

But then again, I play for entertainment value - I'm not worried about my perceived manhood or what others think of it lol...

I totally agree.. I think the game, the first time around gives a bit of a challenge (I don't wanna breeze through) and having a second character is worlds easier. Which is exactly why I can't understand why people need to 'things'* to make it any easier.

*things -I think you know of which I speak, but don't really wanna debate ATM.

Glad to see there's a few folks that enjoy the ride.

It's just like anything: The more you do it, the better you get at it. Since you've made some "discoveries" with your first character, you can refine your techniques and such on each subsequent one.

My Me/Mo worked REALLY hard to finish the game. My Mo/R is breezing through as are my W/Me and R/N.

I do head down to fissure or uw when i can. but thats normally only on weekends as weeknights i dont have time. Not quite as much time down there as I'd like. It is good fun when you're in a good group for either. Massive time commitment though. A good 4hrs or so at least.

I should make a point of comleting all the bonuses i missed i guess.

If U Think Its Easy
As Stated Try Doing 3 Man/1 Man UW Smites
That Will Surely Make It Harder
(For Me Atleast)

I do 1 man UW runs. 2 is quicker though as 1 it takes forever to kill anything.

First time thru the game I didnt know what pulling was or how to call targets until I got to Kryta..now with my second and third character some missions are a lot easier because you are used to thinking in a strategic way...after Thirsty River, the way I took on mmobs changed a lot...now I look a lot more at my map, think in terms of avoiding conflict and slipping between groups...before I used to think I had to clear all teh map....so there is definitively something that has to do with the later mission making you better at using tactics and strategy..then when you get back to the early zones in teh game they seem real easy, mainly because you apply end game skill sto early game mission
