High level helping low level?

I had a question about the group work at the beginning. So far I've noticed that you can only have a 2 wo/man group at level 1 or so, but what if you’re a bit higher like 2-3, and you wanted to help a friend that just started playing. Are you able to backtrack and help him/her in missions even if you’ve leveled above the recommendation?

(I have never played Guild Wars yet, so I’m basically starting out fresh with these forums to guide me. Just that the forums didn’t have (or I couldn’t find) a question & answer about this particular question.)

a higher and lower level can join the same party

all it takes for the lower person to get a share of the experience is participate even if only getting hit, casting heal from the outskirts on the other person or hitting once from afar with a bow

any participation results in their share of the exp and loot
