An apology to Alesia

Well we all have heard the stories about how much teh henchmen suck...well here's a different story for a change...
I was doing an infusion run with henchmen last night, but instead of running we were actually fighting because it is fun to do...
At teh entrance of the seers cave, I was abit prideful and aggroed way to many azure shadows like the w/mo noob i am lol..we all died except Durham and Reyna (mesmer and ranger hench).
Amazingly those two managed to kill off the remaining shadows, rezed Alesia who then rezzed me...
I will never again speak bad of the henchies!!!!!! I have yet to see a group of humans behave hat way..
Instead I often see this:
XXX: oh no the monk died...we cant win the now....
player XXX has left the game
YYY: oh XXX has left darn we will never finish now
player YYY has left the game

I would like to apologize to Alesia for leaving her to die as she rushed into a pack of sand giants and tried to spritz them with her wand. She was very brave.

they always attack Alesia first! its annoying, cuz she's usually the first to die, and since i dont usually have rez, i have to rely on another henchie to bring her back. thats a pretty good story alexmeier, usually after I die, if im with henchies, they all die as well. :\

One Think I've noticed about the henchies lately is that none of them(besides Alesia) will rez anyone. One time we all died except for thom and stefan, and we sat there for ever. Then eventually a group of mobs walked into their aggro and killed them off. Then another time only Alesia died and they wouldn't rez her, and I can't becuase I never carry the rez signet on me. They are starting to piss me off.

What alesia is supposed to heal you? I've always brought her for her amazing tanking abilities.

psshhttt... they don't carry rez signets either. ;p

Yeah, normally Allesia is the first to die but she is good for gathering everyone into a small area and giving me time to aoe them!

I've got armor thanks. Hah, what are you getting so riled up about? Making fun of the henchies is the main humor factor in the game. What other topic can you and your guild mates laugh at consistently?

Making fun of the henchies is like something everyone just HAS to do. Its part of the game imo.

Well they could make fun of you because the henchies are better then you are.. so ?

Its not that the henchies are better than me that is what is funny. Its the AI that they are implemented with. Like Alesia liking to tank and aggro things. Orion casting his celebratory fire storm. Claude sacrificing life when he has like 10. You get the point. Or do you?

only henchies that carry res sigs are the original 4...

I always bring Alesia because she is hot.

Anyway, I'd like to thank all the final mission henchies (Mhenlo, Devona, etc..) because they took out Lich for me while my torched body lay in the lava.

Somtimes. Yeah, your right, its not that funny, but its also situational. Like how you try to do quests/missions/explore with henchies, and you are talking to your guild mates on vent about it.

Thank you. You see? Like almost every other post makes fun of the henchies in some way or the other.

Actually, I don't laugh, I res them and if anything else, try to give them pointers to avoid doing the same thing.

I love that: Alesia spritzed them with her wand...LOL! That might just make me laugh for the next few days or so.

Alesia would have been better as a smiting W/Mo. But I've seen players go out of their way to draw agro worse.

The only thing I don't like about it is that A. Mobs target her first and B. They rarely/never go back to cover their own healers/mages. Let's just get rid of all the other classes and make it Warriors and Rangers only, the others kind of cancel out anyways.
