Found this off a lvl 22.... Gold Firey Dragon, req 8.... should I sell it as is or ID it and hope for the best? PLEASE help me decide.

Well i wouldnt ID it if you know little about swords and their worth, but IMO i always ID stuff (never miss out on what could be), but it could probably go for 100kish easy UNID and if you get good mods ID'd you could get up to 300-500k, but on the other hand if you get crap mods the value could be 5-30k. Although if you have a warrior that could use it i would ID it...
It's just my opinion though

that is a REALLY, REALLY nice sword... altho swords suck in my opinion, u culd sell it for 100k easy, or yea u culd ID, if it wuz me, id sell it coz A- i rly need the money :P B- Judging by past exp the mods wuld be CRAP, and C- as i said i think swords suck....

I would ID, I don't see why the appeal of an unid'ed fiery dragon sword would be high. The only potential unlockable part of the sword would be the pommel. ID it. If you are lucky, you could get 250kish. If not, 25-50k isn't bad either.

If your in need of quick cash...Sell UNid of course for the 100k. If you have money to spare, then ID it and hope for the best. If u get crap mods you still get at least SOME Money

300 to 500K? what fantasy world you exist in? you can only carry 100k at a time. Nothing is worth more then that. the fact that you think it is worth more is easily a sign of being someone that knows NOTHING. cause no matter what you think... no player worth anything will give you more. they will give you 100K and demand the item for the rest, and leave. consider yourself LUCKY that you get 100k no matter what it is.

Just to let you know... seeing transaction 100k at a time triggers an automatic probe into your account cause there is a strong chance you are a gold reseller using eBay or other services. so doing this is shir lunacy.

oh well as they say seeing is believing and i have seen plently of transactions 100k+ pure gold(just because you can't hold more than 100k, doesnt mean the transactions don't occur check the admins post on 100k+ service. Im sure he has performed that service many a time) , and to deem if it's worth it is really up to the buyer.

prices change as well, this was a few days old and if i had to re estimate the values id prbly estimate them as lower now.

I'm thinking maybe the buying and selling forums aren't the right place for you. 100k+ transactions happen all the time. Hundreds each day. Hell some things sell for over 1 million. And most people don't get ripped off, since there are very simple ways of avoiding it. I won't go into them here, since its obvious that you will never need them. (Incidentally, when you find a perfect crystalline sword, let me know, since NOTHING is worth more than 100k. I'll buy it.

And that comment about a probe into your account. First of all that 'fact' was obviously made up by some kid that was angry that the sword he wanted to buy sold for more than 100k. But even if it were true, who cares? Most people dont buy their gold.
