1v1 PvP

I was just wondering what the best class combination and skill set would be the best for dueling and 1 on 1 pvp matches. I have yet to play but from what information I've been able to gather it looks as if it would be a Mes/Nec or a Nec/Mes with a couple life taps, the vampiric spells, and some slows. Just wanted to get input from players with actual in-game experience or even players with a better knowledge of the classes/skills.
