Party Management ideas
Pre-Mission/In-Safezone
Disable the "Enter Mission" option. Provide "Ready?" checkboxes next to each player name in the Party Formation dialog box. When all players are Ready, the "Enter Mission" button is enabled. When the Entering Mission timer begins, the checkboxes are disabled. This would get rid of the need to ask if everyone's ready, wait for everyone's responses, etc. This would also ensure that the mission (or instance) begins when everyone is actually ready to leave.
In-Mission/In-Game
Provide the party a "votekick" option via the command line interface. When a party member receives a majority kick vote, that party member is ejected from the instance and returned to a safezone. This would allow a party to remove abusive or problematic players from the party when the "Kick" option is disabled.

I LIKE these ideas. I mean, I REALLY like them.

Good ideas. Also, it would be nice if the party leader could drag the players around in the group window to change their order. It would help the Monks to quickly distinguish between Tanks, Casters, and Healers, to prioritize heals better.

Perceived good ideas apparently receive far less publicity than perceived bad ideas. Anyone else want to contribute their opinion?

I like the ready option and the dragging around of the party list. The kick could be abused though which is why I am more for instance splitting, But all-in-all good ideas.

Rearrange party window (this could be done individually, no one really cares about party order, except for PvP and I'm still wondering why that is there)

Votekick (you have to make it unanimous, not majority...plus this has been discussed many times over)
