I have a few PvP questions.
First I am a R/E lvl 20 and have never played PvP. I would like to play once and a while for fun.
1) Where can a lvl 20 player play (and actually be able to play) when I have no fame or anything?
2) Does a R/E stand a change in PvP or should I change to another character for PvP?
3) I saw in another post about having a PvP character only. Can you share weapons and gold between your PvP character and your normal character?
4) Please leave me any other tips that a PvP noob might need to know.
Thanks for the help

PvP Questions for a Noon PvP Player

Is it just me, but on the forum page, the title of this thread says "noon PvP" as opposed to "noob PvP," the way it is in the actual post?

1) You can play in either the tombs (8v8 teams), droknar (4v4 teams) or lions arch (4v4 random). There might be more, but I'm not sure.
2) If you're new and without a team you play with often, any of the team arenas will have quite a steep learning curve, imo. The random arenas are fun if you just want to jump in and play a few rounds. You obviously lose a lot of the team strategy aspect of team play, however,
3) Not sure.
4) Just try it out and see.

You can play anywhere with no fame. Although, if you were just wanting to just practice without stress, the best place with the 4v4 in Lion's Arch. There it has random teams, so that way you can't get blamed for anything.
You can also hit the 4v4 arena in Droknar's Forge. It's a laid back setting, but you get to choose your teams and fight more competively than Lion's Arch.
2) Does a R/E stand a chance in PvP or should I change to another character for PvP?
Rangers alone do quite well in PvP, they have their upsides and downsides. As a R/E, your best bet is to find two roles you can play (i.e. Interrupter, AoE, Conditions like poison, pin down, etc.). And just give it a go, if it fails, find out what went wrong and fix it.
3) I saw in another post about having a PvP character only. Can you share weapons and gold between your PvP character and your normal character?
You can share anything between the two since there is a Storage NPC in the arenas. But do note you can't customize your weapons on a PVP only character.

I'm no good on tips, since there are just so many things that can change the flow of a battle.
