Warrior and Strength

Does Boosting up strength do anything besides give you the skills? Like, whe your a necro, you the get the natural ability to gain energy per kill, so does strength natrually make all of your attacks do more damage or somethign like that?
Loviatar
it improves any skills linked to strength
IceD'Bear
Strength adds armor penetration to your attack skills, I think it's 1% (or 2%?) per level of strength.

Your attack skills? So that owuld include sword skills too? Like, if I have level 12 strength, do all normal attacks do penertation, or just certain ones, and what ones? only the ones under strngth?
Sausaletus Rex
From the game: "When you use attack skills, each point of Strength gives you 1% armor penetration. Many skills, especially those related to surviving and inflicting damage, become more effective with higher Strength."
It only works with "attack skills", not just Strength skills, although this does include non-Warrior skills like a ranger's bow attacks or the Monk's Smite.

I had another question...quite important...OH YES! Is the max level for skills 12? Even if you have something boosting up the power of it?
Bgnome
the maximum that you can raise your attributes is to level 12. you can use items and skills in some cases to boost your attributes higher than that.

Are you sure? becasue I want to max out Strength and Swordsmanship, but I thought it might be scencless seen as some items power them up by two and stuff...so I can go past level 12, but if I have an item that gives plus two and its level 12 already, it will be like 14?
Luggage
yes (10 character)
