Gold Swords

Generally speaking, how much does a rare gold sword sell for?
I found one today and it was my first . However, since i'm an elementalist, it's really no use to me except for the unlocked hilts for my pvp. I'll come back tomorrow or something with more details on the sword if you guys want

Ok, found out what the sword exactly is:
Ebon Forked Sword of Enchanting
Earth Dmg: 13-18 (Req 8 Swordsmanship)
Damage +17% (while hexed)
Enchantments last 18% longer

since we're talking gold weapons....

really dumb question....a gold weapon will have a gold title or actually be colored gold?

That enchantment mod is worth more than the actual sword. (That sword isn't worth much, it's not near max damage and the reqs are high for the damage) I'd take my chances salvaging it to get the mod and sell that.

I have seen this statement on a few items along the way. How do I take advantage of the "hexed" statement. Have a shield with this capability that would boost my hp -- come in handy. Thanks in advance.

in PvP, you'll get hexed a lot. thats the best place to use anything that has "while hexed" on it.

Crystalline Sword 15 - 22 dmg +20 health, Lengthens Bleed Duration req 13

I'm sure someone would buy it because its a Crystalline sword. Personally, I would not. It has no base modifier like + damage % ><50.

It does have max damage, but 13 requirement is too high imo and the +20 hp fortitude mod isn't near perfect. I'm sure you can sell it in LA for a decent amount just because of the Crystalline factor, but I wouldn't be shocked if you didn't have many offers.

1) max damage --> worth 500 itself
2) +20 health --> bonuses to HP are highly sought after right now. For +20 you can get a bonus of a couple thousand to that figure.
3) Lengthens bleeding duration --> pretty good, enough warriors will seek bonus to bleeding time. Another thousand.
4) 13 swordsmanship --> OUCH. Without mods the max you can get to any attribute is 12. -100 gold
5) Gold --> Most important thing of this sword. Rare swords are worth alot (especially when unidentified... but you've already unlocked some good (actually, great) mods). Gold adds at least 5k to the worth.

I'd sell this for 30k, but I would ask for anyone interested to offer first, because it could sell for as much as 60k.

Oh, and sell it in LA. People pay rediculous amounts there.

I was pissed to see that it was req 13 lol, also mad it didnt have +% dmg, but Crystalline so rare, that everyone wants one.
