Curious, I was goin to get the followin skills for my Necro/Warrior
# Awaken The Blood
# Life Siphon(Replacable with Well of Blood)
# Life Transfer
# Vampiric Touch
# Savage Strike(PvE) / Hamstring(PvP)
# Frenzy
# Sever Artery
# Final Thrust
However, final thrust, savage strike, awaken the blood arent avaible right away. Im curious, are skills unlocked over time? Are they not implented yet? What?

Skills are obtained through Skill Trainers which can be found in large cities like Fisherman's Haven, Yak's Bend, Henge of Denravi and Lion's Arch. Each have different skills, the farther you progress, the better the skills available. You obtain the skills from them with skill points and a little gold. Skill Points are found when completing missions and/or leveling up.
You can get four skills per proffession in Preseared Ascalon and 1 skill that is for all proffessions. If you choose to make a 'pure' character you can get a maximum of five skills there but with multiple proffessions you can get 9.

This is a bit off-topic, but at what level can you head off to a place other then post-ascalon.

you can go to the academy to transition from pre to post as early as level 3 but sticking around for the free skills and easy exp in pre is recommended

I think what he meant Loviatar was when do you start entering new regions like Shiverpeaks and Kryta.
Most people exit the Post Seared Ascalon region around level 8-10. I dont think the majority of players stick around in the Shiverpeaks for awhile, most go to Lion's Arch. The people who stay in the Shiverpeaks are the people who want to go the long way and just enjoy Guild Wars to the fullest instead of rushing to the end game.

Is there some type of map so I can see where the exit from Old Ascalon to Shiverpeaks is? Among other things.

(Just looked at that map, its one hell of a LONG run to get to Lions Gate! LoL)

Each mission is about 1 to 2 hours long. So just count up the missions and you should get the basic idea how long it takes. Not counting mission failures...
Going through the Shiverpeaks is much much much longer. Trust me. But it's still fun, most people are just to lazy to enjoy the scenery.

How many missions are there in post-searing in the Ascalon area. I got as far as frontier gate, but no further.
Ginko
These are the number of missions per region:
Ascalon: 4
Shiverpeaks: 2
Kryta: 5
Magumma Jungle: 4
Many more missions will be added come release and in exspansions. I thought there were 16 missions, but it appears from MOOMANiBE's map that there is only 15.

Another question.
To run the missions in ShiverPeaks, do I have to finish up the missions in Ascalon?

Yes, when you finish each mission you will be taken to the next automatically. Including missions in new regions. So when you finish Nolani you will be taken to the first Shiverpeak mission, when you finish the Shiverpeaks you'll be taken to the first Kryta mission, etc.
