You actually killed the ettin boss and it didn't have it, or you didn't find the ettin boss?

I ask because I had to reset the instance a few times because, at first, the boss wasn't on the way the mission takes you. I finaly saw him off to the right of the energy drain tower, where the jade armors are.

i have the same problem, i cleared perdition rock twice and didnt get the skill coz i didnt find the boss. hmm

Bosses don't spawn everytime. Exit and reenter the zone as many times as you need to find him.

took me like 20times of running in and out of town for him just to spawn for me :P

It took me about 10 times untill he appeared. FYI he raises his budies so be prepared, but I was able to do it with henchies
