1) Where did they move the chest with the amulet to? I have searched everywhere!

2) How can you tell what level your animal is or what level an animal you want to tame is?

3) Can you only dump your animal by giving it to the trainer?

4) Is there some sort of game cop who watches for obscene names?..I saw one today.

4) Well, my guess would be that they do have people semi-watching it, but i know a lot of it relys on people sending in reports of obscene language or abuse etc. then they futher examine it.

1) The chest with the beautiful amulet/pendant for the "Gift for Aletha" quest is in a chest at the top of the hill to the right of Ascalon city. If you follow the path up the hill/mountain. It should be located in the curve right before you get to the bandit camp where the Ashford lockbox for the bandit quest is located. If you hold alt going up the mountain, you should see the yellow "chest" letters. It is usually guarded by one lvl 1 Bandit Firestarter.

2) If you left click on the animal before you charm it, you can find out its level. Similarly, if you left click on a pet after you have charmed it, you can find out what level your pet is.

3) You can dump your animal by giving it to Jarrel/Jarral (not sure about spelling) the Trainer near Nente the Ranger trainer in Reagent Valley.

4) Guildwars staff did mention that obscene names would be removed and the character would be deleted, I believe.

Thanks Tsunami.
Can you tell me about who uses the scrolls, artifacts, Chakrams, staffs. Some of the stuff I picked up had +3 Energy but I didn't know if my character would benefit from carrying it...also do they stack. I mean a lot of stuff I picked up had a +3 Energy, then something else...like an Armor bonus under a particular condition...like if health is below 50%. Can I carry it and something else that has a +3 Energy and an Armor bonus under a different condition?

most of those things are foci. they are held in your offhand and generally give you a small energy boost. think of them as mini-shields for casters.
they can have modifiers on them, much like shields and weapons. you cannot use one with a two handed weapon. since you only have 1 off-hand, you cannot equip more than 1 focus at a time.
staves are 2-handed caster weapons. they function much like wands but are upgradeable.

Anyone can use those items. Some may have a requirment to do so. As far as I know items that give 'pluses' to energy/armor do stack with each other. However I am not sure if the 'conditions' stack with each other if they are the same 'conditions'.

Anyone can use anything as there are no attribute requirements on any items in the presearing area. However, staves, bows and hammers are two-handed so you can't hold anything else in your other hand like a focus, scroll, artifact, idol, chackram or shield.

Yes, the benefits stack such as if you have a one-handed weapon in one hand that gives you an energy bonus and a focus in the other hand that gives you an energy bonus, those two would stack. You can't wield two weapons and you can't wield two non-weapons.

So idols and things have to be held?? I thought they could be in your belt pouch. I had like 5 at a time...a couple of scrolls, idol, and a couple of other things. Is there a page somewhere that tells us who can use what and how to get use from it?

I don't know if anyone has made a page about it, but I will let you know what I found out so far:

1. Anyone can use any weapon. Although some weapons have a stat requirement for certain conditions to be fulfilled. For example, a bow with damage of 10-16 with a requirement of Markmenship 3. Im not sure if your able to equip it unless your a Ranger (Rangers are the only profession with Markmanship) with a Markmanship of 3, or if the full damage will not be reached unless you have Markmanship of 3. Either way, I wouldnt recomend using it without that requirement.

2. When you go to crafter, look at the list of items that you can make. I believe that is the only armor that you can equip. Also, diffrent crafters sell diffrent items. I did not know this until I decided to pick a diffrent crafter in Ascalon City becuase the other was crowded.

idols, cestas ,scrolls, artifacts, focus, icons, divine symbols, etc are all caster +energy items. In pre searing just equip the one that gives you the best energy bonus. once you get to post searing though the new items that drop will require you to have attribute points in certain attributes in enable to get the most out of the energy bonus. I know for weapons if you don't have the required attribute points they still function but will have the stats of starter items

Ok..so I should just sell all the ones in my packs then? If you have to equip them (carry in an empty hand...seems silly to me) Then you can really only use one.

I would hold off selling all artifacts and scrolls that give you energy bonuses. You will want to save several since you can use the expert salvage kit to salvage Rolls of Parchment. Rolls of parchment are used in the crafting of armor and possibly weapons as well. Also people will buy Rolls of Parchment at a good price.
