gold dye

i'm lost i've been trying to make it and all that ever comes out is !@#$ color and or ugly yellow. and i have looked all over the place trying to find out.

Orange then silver then yellow then silver again, then apply

Doesnt work get a murkey green .. :/ tried that Ive yet to see a good gold dye yet... or even a bright yellow if some one could post a screeny I would like that...

Atm I am dyeing my tatts yellowy green

keep in mind that the devs may have made paints work differently on leather/skin armor than they would be on 'metal' armors.

Edit: Then again im a bit tired this late and may not know what the heck im saying.

For basic 2 tier Gold dye... simply use Yellow + Silver

There is a 3 tier version which is bit nicer, that doesn't use orange, green, purple or whatever, but I worked it out myself. Don't PM to ask since I not telling

Still Yellow + silver looks nice.

I would soo love to have bright yellow gold tatts but this is the best i can get after all my attempts

you're getting the colors wrong!

Try this as a 4-tier dye: 1 Yellow and 3 Orange per piece. It may be different if it's Necro Scar and Chaos Axe

orange + silver... I think.

the closest so far is yellow and silver.
orange and silver looks like copper.

one person that i met on GW told me to use two yellow + one silver which does look nice!

I used Silver + Gold on the gauntlets, boots and leggings.
The helm is Black + Yellow + Black.
And the chest is Silver + Gold + Black.

In the FoW (where the screenie is from), it looks darker. In other places where there is more light it shines more.

Hang on... black doesn't mixed with anything. It just creates black.

no not really. I wanted a shiny black one day and mixed
Black + silver and i got slightly darker silver, almost grey. Black
can be mixed.
also GW was not desing like in real life for color mixes. I've gained
gold dye before by mixing purples and blues and other odd
colors together. to be honest though, I've forgot the exact recipee
I used back then.

Indeed black does mix, and indeed again that the colours don't quite mix the way they should. I figured mixing the three primary colours would give white... nope...

How do you mix them? Do you need a crafting ink bottle? How does the process work?

What are those rare ink viles for?

vials of ink are needed for some classes armors.

well, so far, i have used a silver and a yellow and i get what looks to me, like gold.
and silver and orange gave me a bronze-ish looking dye.

but there is one thing to consider....not only do scars and tatooes have a different system, but each class seems to sometimes get different dye effects, though the shades seem to be ok most of the time...
