you could probably get more by slavaging the hammer grip from it and selingl that instead of the hammer.

I sell all my weapons 750 gold, nothing more nothing less.
Unless it has +% dmg on it, those weapons with max damage are godly, sell them for 1.5K or more.

I've had 2 different instances of getting a hammer just like this. I sold one for nearly 8k, the other for 400gp just to get rid of it. If you are patient enough you will find someone to buy it for a ridiculous price...
...but if you're like me, you'd rather get rid of it for a few k and get on with life.
