Being Notified When a Guild Mate Comes online

this is one thing i think would be really good. Just what if when one of your guild mates came online the game gave you a little ding or something telling you that a new member was on? vs what we have now is your waitting for a certain person to come on, you end of doing a FoW run where your too busy to even attempt to look at your guild list periodicly and then when you finaly get the chance too guess what! The person you were looking for just logged out, you missed there entire time online becasue you didnt know they were on.

Sorry, but my old guild had about 80 members or something and I really don't want to hear a "ding" or notification every time one signs on, wouldn't mind it if it were toggleable though.

Maybe be able to add a tell like AIM allows you to do so that it plays a specific sound when a certain person comes on? This way if you want to talk to a person you no when they come online but don't have to here constant dings. Also add a feature were you can drop a guilde a message that shows up when they come online. Even if you arn't online.

i think this would be a good idea. and options to make it: 1) off 2) guild leader only, 3) leader & officers, 4) all guildies

if they had a switch to turn if on off per member that would be nice, and as long as it didn't overwrite the "appear offline" mode, as a guild officer/leader I really like not getting bothered with everyone's "please do xyz mission for me" when I just want some playtime =)

Have them Whisper to you then. It always "Dings" on the first whisper doesn't it?

ok so im a guild leader with 80 members, yea let me whisper everyone of them that on evertime i get one just to let them know. yea that makes alot of sense.

I would at least like the ability to know where other guild members are. Maybe just an extra line on the popup when I mouse over their name in the guild window.

Or can you already do this w/o asking them where they are when they're in the middle of a run? Haven't found that option yet, I've been too involved in actually playing the game.

While we are on the topic of messaging, I think it would be nice that we can send or save messages to ppl that are not online or busy at the moment.
