A staight answer?
Count Feanor
Ok. I have read tons of posts on armor for warriors and still have not seen a straight answer. Probably because no one knows for sure. Not to mention all the conflicting data I've read. What is the best armor set if you get the whole set without adding mods? Is the very best a throw up set of different sets? I for one would want to wear a straight set instead of something that looks like I've stripped off of many dead warriors over the years.

It'd probably be dependant on what exactly you want to do with it, if it's anything like Ranger armor.

There is no straight answer, it is all in how you want to play.
If you like using energy for skills and spells, get armor with +energy. If you like pounding away furiously, get the higher AL. No one can make up your mind for you on this.

Glad armor if you want enery and are going to use it. Platmail if you want bulky and a solid rock that can take lots of dmg

Didn't you just post in a thread that has a straight answer to your question?
Ensign's testing ftw.

I figured that's what it would come down to, so I am going for the straight platemail. Yes, I posted this elsewhere but didn't think it fit the overall post, so I reposted. I heard platemail is better against elemental attacks, which is what I'm looking for. Thanks for the imput, all.

Ah, now I see the answer to my question in the other post. I apologize for the redundancy.
