Changes to Character Creation?

One of the notes for the last BWE mentioned that the character creation screen was going to be different and they thought players would be happy with the changes. I haven't been able to do any of the BWEs, but I'm drooling to play GW, and character creation is *really* important to me--I spend literal hours in games just making characters.

So...those of you who got to do the BWE, what's different? Are there more options? Does anyone have a screenshot they can share to tide me over until the end of the month?

The only difference I noticed was a change in the color of the trim on the Elementalist clothing from light purple to red.

There definately has to be nicer hairstyles for the female warriors.... longer hair maybe that move? the ranger has nice ones, why can't they all share styles?

I am the same way, I spend hours just to get the right look, it helps to
really connect with my character and enjoy it.

Star, the character creation is lacking. All rangers look alike, all necros, all warriors, and so on. Their really arent that many choices.

I think they should open up all customization opitons for every char. A Warrior should be able to have any face/hair that he/she wants.

After all he is a person first, then he is a warrior, necro, ranger etc....

Heh, I'm coming from playing WoW, where you have a choice of like 4 hair colors, 4 skin colors, and 4 hairstyles, and that's about it. Everyone has the same height and weight. I ended up following random night elves around town thinking they were my partner because they all looked the same. So my standards have been pretty dramatically lowered at the moment.

I do kind of like how each class has a different "feel" to them. The sort of "Renaissance" Mesmer look is really unusual, it caught my eye right at the beginning. Now if only I could find screenshots of people who aren't naked... (just kidding, I've found plenty, but the lingerie models do tend to get screen captured more often, it seems).
