Elementalist's weapons

First, I want to say I'm currently at Droknar's, through Dragon's Lair after ascension. What I want to say is I have seen a nice ammount of the game (not explored to much and missed some of the outposts, Fisherman's for example).

The point is, in another thread (http://guildwarsguru.com/forum/showthread.php?t=32364) I've seen there are lots of different Swords.

Are there lots of types of Wands or Staffs? I've only seen the usual wand (the one that Orion has with a glowing ball) and the elemental ones. That makes 4 types. And none is, lets say, "exclusive" in the way a Fiery Dragon Sword is. The same happens to Bows, hammers...

Its simply I've not reached good drop areas or there aren't better *looking* wands or staffs in the game? Actually I have the max dmg Air Wand with 20 recharge and the Storm Artifact +12 20/20, both from collectors. So I am not saying I want better stated weapon, only a better looking one

I'm still early in the game, much earlier than you, but I haven't seen anything that looked as good as the Air Wand...

Pretty much what you've seen is what there are. Caster's get shafted and can't get any above good looking wands/staves.

And how is a Fiery Dragon Sword "exclusive"? It's just another sword that drops at high end level monsters.

By exclusive I wanted to mean its not the usual steel blade, but a flame.

I mean, how many types of swords there are? there must be at least 10-12 (no idea since I've never played a Warrior still)

Why cant we get a cool looking staff, let's say ethereal looking like the bow that drops in UW or the energy looking axe thingie warriors use?

I think all the caster class doesnt have good looking weapons.I am a necro but as far I can I see the drops,Warrior and Ranger got the most beautiful things.

Ghost staff.

Melee classes get good-looking weapons. Caster classes get fancy-looking spells. Seems balanced to me

BTW, whats that Ghost Staff and where can I get one? UW? (I'm at Droknar's)

Its almost utterly impossible to get a decent mod on a good looking staff though - finding a 15% + Fellblade isn't that horribly hard, try getting a 20/20 on the right skillset non-collector staff though - haven't found any, let alone fancy uw/fissure variants thereof. Those items I'd pay out the nose for.

I think I saw one drop in FoW (not quite sure though, I did alot of FoW/UW altering that day). Eitherway it is very rare, and even more rare with good stats and/or max damage.
