Elementalist have hard hitting spells but often take much too long to cast. So my solution knockdown + fast cast. Sure they're not the highest damaging spells but the number of times you can spam them and keep your enemy within range and on their backs should make for an interesting time.

First let me saying I'm very new to GW and building so I'm very limited in pratical application and testing these builds. So most are just theory and fooling around.
But in theory you should be able to keep your oppent on his back while force feeding them aftershocks and flamebursts. And when your running low on energy you can use Ethertrap.
I think this build would be most useful gaurding your primary healer against multiple warriors. Let me know what you think

I guess I'll be the first to say this....But you obviously are missing on something. The attibute does not play in unless you put points in it, and Fast Casting is for Mesmer primarys ONLY. Also, you have no points in Energy Storage, making your skills almost completely useless. Good eles will focus in on Energy Storage, one element, and something from their second profession. The element can change from one to the other depending on the situation, but only one at a time.

Energy Tap (That's what it is called, there is also Ether Feast...) was not in your skill list, and would not make up for the energy loss, considering you have no points in Inspiration Magic.

First, yeah Fast Casting is for Mesmer primary only so if you went Mesmer primary, you wont be able to put points into 3 elements. Second, If you go Mesmer primary, you wont have energy storage and that will really Hamper your casting abilities for this High Dmging, and very energy expensive skills. Third If you go Elementalist and drop the whole Fast Casting, you will HAVE to put points into energy storage and thatwill leave you with 2 medium dmging Elements and One energy storage or just High energy storage and one Max element. I personally go 12 Energy storage and 12 Earth/Air depending on what i want to do. If I brg something from Sec Profession I go 12 element 10 energy Storage and rest on Secondary Profession
