Getting To Lions Arch

Ok so I believe once you are in old-ascalon you can start missions. After you do enough missions will you just automatically be admitted to Lions Arch? Also, do you have to do a quest before you are able to start a mission? I think the first mission is like the 'bridge keep threats' but i'm not sure how to get there to start it.

The easiest way to get to Lion's Arch is trough the coop missions i think. Starting with The Great Northern Wall mission, and then keep doing them until you finish the Gates of Kryta mission and get permission to enter. Not to hard if you have a good team. Very good story arch btw Love the videos.

I think the quickest way might be to do the missions with a good group but doing it via the explorable areas might be easier.

i wanted to do it by explorable areas, but someone said it was gonna take me very long, so i didnt. Perhaps once i get the game i might do that. Think ittl be fun with a nice group

Personally, im just gonna run the missions to get there. When I hit 20 ill do the exploring, by then the mobs wont even scratch me.

I've heard rumors that the Etti, or Enti, or whatever the name of the creature is, can prove to be a real tough challenge even for a solo level 20 player. It's also rather long too, but all this might change when the game comes out. Either way, good luck.

I only got to Yak's bend in the BWE, how do you get to the next mission from there? I'm having a hard time exiting because the Snow Ettins and Ice Elementals are really tough, not to mention the Stone Ridge troops.

your very funny... i was lev 16 and tried to make it by doing explorables and made it kryta's gate mission, by the skin of my teeth, after that i died very easily... because it wasnt the lev of the creatures (11-22) it was the fact they attacked in huge groups, with deadly spells. lev 20 does not make you invincible, a group of levle 10's can still take you out if youre not careful

You need to remember one IMPORTANT thing here. Don't treat this like you would another game. Your survivability has nothing to do with your level. Your gear may help sustain you a bit but that won't really save you either.
You need to be confident in the skills you have chosen at the time (or be compitent with the ones you are stuck with if you can't get the ones you want yet) and above all, you need to have STRATEGY. There are ways to take down big groups in little pieces. I spent a whole weekend doing it.

Myself and a buddy of mine ran into a bottle neck on questing. 2 guys with mediocre equipment and skills. (this took 2 hours mind you) We took out one grouping of charr that numbered roughly 50+. We both did it with 8-12 damage bows and 40AL armors. Probably could've traded like crazy to get better weapons but figured why bother since in one day it would be wiped.
Sometime when I get the chance I'll post a couple "big game hunter's trophy mug shots" to show you. It was a very proud moment.

Not exact disposition mind you but group was something like this....lvl5 charr=15...lvl 6charr=15....lvl 7-8charr=10...lvl 10charr=5characters.
