My character is a Mesmer and I really don't know which class to match it with. I played on one of those invite a friend cards and I only got to play for a few hours so I really don't know what style of Memser I want to play. What I really want to know is what would be the most effective and most fun combination to play. Thanks a lot.

Necromancer probably best, deal some real damage out.

depends what you want. Necro is a good addition just for rend enchantments and shadow of fear. Monk is also good for the extra res and scourge healing. Its all up to you though. Mes is very versatile, and you haven't really stated what you're aiming for.

or, you could just ignore a second profession and stick with the mesmer 100%, learning to master his skills.
