Searching for decent weapon mod drops

I have been farming gryphons, trolls, even ettins all day and haven't gotten much to show for it; a minor rune, tons of collectors items, non-max dmg weapons for salvage (not like there's a decent resource market unless you have lots of ectoplasms or shards), couple fiery dragon swords that weren't even max.

I'm trying to find max dmg weapon drops that are blue/purple where there's a chance I can salvage some upgrades like health and lifestealing stuff since all my axes are plain and I'm not rich. I don't even need money I just want stuff for myself, so if anyone has any ideas for me I'd appreciate it (PM's are cool)

P.S. My build is W/Mo Axe/Smiting that I saw posted here somewhere but can't find it now, so melee w/o enchant-stripping is key.

Problem is, no one will tell you. As soon as that person does the spot will get nerfed within minutes. :/
