I've been making some builds for my guildmates, and I'm going to try my luck here. Tell me whether you are doing PvP, PvE, or farming. Helpful knowledge would be what Arena, where in PvE, how far you are in the game, or where you plan on farming (You could pm me ingame about that, as to not have the spot nerfed)
Edit: Obviously tell me your professions.

I'll give this a try. I am messing around with necromancers in the PVP competition arena. I've been looking at a N/Me lately. My current incarnation goes something like this:
Blood Magic 14 (+1 hat +1 rune*)
Curses 10 (+1 rune)
Soul Reaping 10 (+1 rune)
1. Shadow Strike
2. Vampiric Gaze
3. Arcane Echo
4. Life Tranfer (E)
5. Life Siphon
6. Enfeebling Blood
7. Faintheartedness
8. Ressurection Signet
*- I don't currently have a Sup Blood Magic unlocked, but I do have 2,000 faction. I was wondering if it would be worth it blow it on the rune? Are there other runes that are more important? Sup Expertise?
My concern with this build is that I'm trying to do too many things at once. I have spike damage, DOT, and curses. I seem to have foresaken synergy for my favorite spells. My goal for this character is to be self sufficient in arenas, and have the ability to deal significant damage. Should I focus on DOT or spike damage? Would it be worth switching out curses for Domination for some shutdowns? Is there a better way to go about this type of character? Awaken the Blood? Dark Pact?
Another concern is that my only energy management is in the form of Soul Reaping. As a build that wants to be chaining Arcane Echo -> Shadow Strike -> Shadow Strike -> Vampiric Gaze -> repeat, I find myself in trouble if I can't take a target down fast. Mesmer Inspiration magic?
Any input on how to make improvements, or any completely new ideas are welcome and appreciated. Feel free to scrap whatever I already have for something you think would be better.
edit: Assume I have access to all skills.

Never speak of Ian Boyd EVER AGAIN.

But he's my hero! We'll have a ranger picking off elementalists, and trapping their warriors, and it's just like Halo! I wish he had made an appearance here, because I registered on GH solely to post in his thread.
