1) Henchman. I like partying with henchman when I have had a lot of bad parties that day. But we all know that henchman can be retarted and attack everything in sight, and somtimes they just go off on their own.(Has happened to me) My idea for henchman was commands for them. Follow, Stay, Attack, Move here, or something like that. I don't want it to be a military game, but if you want them to run with you instead of fight a group of mobs, this would help.
2) Guild halls. Guild Halls are look cool as they are, but what about the ability to customize it more, and actually go inside it. For cuztomization, there could be a number of things. Pattern and color of the bricks and stones, bridges, archways, towers, etc. The ability to create your own flag. (With your guild emblem) but a customizable background. Maybe you could buy catapults(For show), or guards for (Not for GvG.) The ability to maybe make your own GvG objectives, place your guild lord, customize the inside with thing you can buy, to pimp it out. Maybe each player registered with the guild, could get his or her own instanced room in the guild and let them customize it.
3) Character space. Can't tell you how many time my guild, myself, and others I have spoken to complain about 4 character slots. We need ATLEAST 6 if not more than that. I have deleted so many characters and remade others, so many times its annoying now.
Well thats what I have to say.
A few Ideas. (Henchies,Guild halls, and Character Space)

1) I like. We need some kind of command for Stefan and Little Thom to keep whacking on the melee-types to keep them off me while I cast fires on the head of their healer. As it is now, as soon as I divert my attention, here comes Stefan and Little Thom to join in the fray.
2) Guild Halls - Please, please, please give us at least the option to include the following NPCs in our halls: Xunlai Agent (personal storage box), Rune Trader, Merchant, Materials, Rare Materials, Dye and a new NPC for a Guild Storage Box where I can leave items for other guildies to have. Perhaps, there could be a fee for each NPC the guild chooses to have - say 10k or so? I would like the Guild Hall to be more like your characters' "home town". By charging the guilds to add these features, you create a money sink. I'd love to see a skill trainer there too, but I really doubt that will ever happen.
3) Character spaces - I'd much prefer to have 6 slots for RP and a 7th for PvP-only. However, since GW utilizes a primary/secondary profession set-up, it's doubtful. We currently have exactly the minimum number of slots needed to have characters with each profession covered and still leave a PvP slot open. As much I'd like to have one of each primary, I don't think we're going to get it.

Guilds need their own arenas, thats my view.

1. If you call targets, your henchies will generally follow them. And if you target yourself and call target, it will say I'm following [your name] and they usually refocus to follow you. I'm not saying its perfect or that it works all the time, but its there in a sense. I do agree it should be improved though. Same for pets.
2) Eh, more server load than its worth, but it'd be nifty if it could have a decent interface. I get the feeling it would have to be way to complicated to be worth implementing.
3) No way. 4 slots = 3 for RP characters, so you can have every proffession available for unlocking + 1 for PvP builds. Having more characters just means more server load, and more storage space for people to hoard crap which breaks the economy even more.

I could see having ONE more slot... I have 4 toons, and I like all thier Primaries (thier seconds are changable so that's irrelvant). I'd like to see a 5th slot solely for making a PvP toon (make that the ONLY thing you could do withe that slot). Since he would be maxed when you create him deleting him and starting a new build wouldn't be a big deal. Well thats what I have to say. |
