Gladiator-style helmet for the Gladiator sets!

The small leather caps don't do either of the sets justice (the lower end sets or the Ascension set)!

I'd really like to see some better helmets for Gladiator armor... not necessarily anything from the movie, but there are plenty of helmet types out there that could be reproduced. Maybe an open-faced one for the lower end sets, and a full, mask face version for the 15k sets.

I realise that the art department probably has a lot on their plates already, but this should be an upgrade for the future. Every other set has a distinct helmet to go with it, except Gladiator, which is just the basic leather cap.

PS: If I could find some links to some decent pictures of various types (outside of eBay) I'd post them, but just doing a search of "gladiator armor" will bring up some results with some nice ideas.

Problem is there is no "actual" gladiator helm, there are several varients of the basic leather helm that is considered to be the gladiator helm.

I would like to see the art change on one of the "gladiator helms" to fit the armor as well... That would be very good... Mostly aesthetic, but since we're dealing with a purely aesthetic set of armor. Might as well, IMO...

Actually there is. From Yak's Bend on, if you check the list of armor the crafter can make, it IS there... adds an additional +1 energy to the +7 you get from the rest of the set.

The collector's helm from the Crystal Dessert looks better, just get that one

sometimes, I really wonder where the GW designers got their ideas...

New designs for some of the helmets so they match the Ascended Gladiator armor would be a nice touch.

The picture of the helmet with the faceguard (blue background) that Mugon posted up above looks nice.

Edit: Someone just told me it's from the movie Gladiators though.

I wouldn't mind wearing helmets modeled after the ones the Ascalon soldiers have.
