Rewards system after mission

I think that it'd be cool that at the end of each mission, the person deemed most valuable would get some sort of special reward (monetary or not) that isn't available anywhere else in the rest of the game (that is, if it's not money). Originally I thought that this could maybe be voted by the rest of the players, but after reading the Necromancer thread, that probably wouldn't be the best idea. If Anet could develop some sort of program with a formula that gave players points for healing, doing damage, or casting other types of spells on the enemy, without it being biased towards a particular class, a pretty accurate idea of who was indeed the most deserving of the reward can be established. (Of course, runners would probably be screwed, but thats kind of like cheating anyway) I think this makes more sense after reading that thread about how the Necromancer gets no respect - well, this would be a great way to prove it. I hope this doesnt sound confusing, and I'm sorry if this has been posted before, I thought it seemed unique enough....comments/suggestions welcome!

I don't think there's a fair way to decide who the MVP is.

Just because you can spam a bunch of spells during a mission, doesn't make you the most valuable. I for one would be more likely to give points to the more strategic side of things, that is afterall what Anet thinks this game should be.... Granted in some cases it's obvious who dominated the missions, but in the rest it just isn't cut and dry and would cause too much whining.

No.

As it is now, there's a plague of W/Mo's out there raking mad cash for running weak characters so the players don't have to actually play the game they (or more accurately, mommy and daddy) paid for.

They are already making anywhere from 1k for a weak run to 25k or more for a Droknor run. Why do they need mroe rewards?

Sorry - I would otherwise agree - but not with the Ascalon Taxi Service in full effect...

This idea may sound good on paper, at a first glance, but is really ends up being rather impratical. GW is a Co-op game and as such is team based - what's the old saying about "i" and team? Anet has a pretty good option in the PvP arenas called fame. Whether or not it could be worked into the PvE world is another matter. Quite frankly, I think is should remain in PvP. If you're a good PvE player, your rep among the other gamers will spread and you'll be the envy of every party, I think that should be reward enough.
