I did the Aurora Glades mission last night and when I reached the last part, where you need to attune 3 portals in a race to do so against an enemy white mantle team, there was no enemy team!
This was freaking me out, as I feared they would attune the portal right before I try to attune the last one, meaning I would have to fight them, instead of running around for minutes until I attuned all of them.
I even waited for about a minute before attuning the last portal, but that whole area was deserted.
I can only assume that they either logged off to rant about <insert random update change> in these forums or finally had enough of getting beaten by player teams and so decided to use the time to get drunk instead of wasting it running around.
Seriously though, has anyone else experienced this?
Not 1 single white mantle in that last portal attunement part - never seen that happen before.
Auror Glades now deserted?

They're probably off complaining how they keep getting they're inventories nerfed.
Anyway, that's weird how no one showed up. Did you try checking their "base" where they usually start out, there should have at least been the bonus target there, forget his name though.

Yep, last time I did that mission their runner got stuck in their doorway, which basically turns it into an easy win if you don't care about the bonus mission - the entire White Mantle force stuck in one spot.
We cared about the bonus though, so we liberated them, but the forces that were supposed to give cover fire for the runner repeatedly got stuck on eachother which let us pick off the runners one by one.

that would explain it. A shame this never happens in the later fire isle missions

That must be what happened to us last night. One runner came out and attuned a portal and went back, but that was the last we saw of the WM.

I had this happen in Sanctum Cay (where you defend the vizier on the beach). Everyone was saying how these hordes of white mantles are gonna show up....5 minutes later the ship arrives and nothing came! Maybe the are on strike...

The problem with the Sanctum Cay bonus usually isn't that the players get killed when they approach the docks, but the Vizier that spawns smack dab in the middle of those White Mantle. You'd better be quick with Healing Seed, Healing Hands or Mark of Protection or he's a goner within seconds, after which the entire party falls over dead.

I loved doing Sanctum Cay as a monk. Keeping those undead helpers Vizier gives you alive makes light work of the mantle. Those smoke phantoms are air eles IIRC and do quite a bit of damage.
