Guild Names

How does one go about renaming their guild name? Is this possible or am I wasting my time?

I spoke to the emblember, the sigil trader, and other npc's to no avail. Which I presume answers my question, but I thought I would ask nonetheless.

The reason for my quest in this is, my guild has shifted focus and purpose, and I would like to fix the now erroneous name...

The only way that I know of to change the name is to disband the guild and create a new one. It's be nice not to have to reinvite everybody though

Thank you for the heads up. We are a small guild, mostly made of real-world people who know one another, so it would take me all of 5 mins to reinvite the lot of them.

I may do that in the end, because the name for it now is just....off
