Yesterday I ran into a idiot, or moron, or whatever you want to call him. We were doing Villiany of Galranth as a group, but this guy had other plans. Once we zoned to Kessex, he stayed at the entrance. We all thought he went AFK and went on our way.
We reach Galranth, everyone is excited and congradulating each other in the party chat. This person overheard what we have occomplished and ZONED INTO the black curtian... We were furious.
We went to town, kicked his little ass and got another.
Went back to Kessex, We looked at the person we recruited, he was in the same guild as the last person [rh]. We tried anyway and hoped he wouldn't do it again.... well he did.
At this point we were getting tired and pissed off, we wanted to kick him but guess what, we couldnt. For some stupid reason Anet only lets you kick members in town... for what reason I have no idea.
We need to get the privilage to kick on the field, for occasions like this.
BTW: The character that did this to use was Bren Heavyfirst. If you see him, do not party with him, he will ruin your night.
More control over partys

I think it would make more sense to require all surviving members of team to cross an entrance before the map is swapped. I have never understood why it works the way it does now.
...Come to think of it, a system like that would be abused too.

Best solution is in-instance-votekick, along with an auto-henchmen for dropped/kicked players.
Sorry for your hard-luck dude, Galrath is a bit of a tough mission...

I'm for a vote for Party leader still. I don't see the problem.
You only have one guy in the party, that you have to test your trust too, ie. if hes an idiot/asshole/whatever. In a vote situation you always have 6 other guys that need to be trusted ...

Take the above instance. If said "arshole" was Leader. Instead of zoning, he could've kicked them all once they got to Galrath and you'd have the same problem.
In addition, it's too easily abused.
"Hi, we're nearly finished with the Mission. However, drop 2 Plat or I'll kick you."
A party-wide vote would be best, if anything. It would curb Guild groups picking up single, un-affiliated members though, for some of the same reasons listed above.

vote kick yes. ask them questions. if they r afk they beter hav a good reason. if u dont like the answer, go to town & kick. difernent name, same guild = same jerk.
