Weapon upgrade replacing

Can anyone point me to info on how to tell what upgrade will get replaced when you are trying to "better" a weapon?

At the moment, I have a sword with slashing damage, then Health +23, and then double adrenaline on hit. Since I am a N/W, the second upgrade is not very useful to me. Do I replace the hilt or the pommel?

I have the same issue with an staff for my E/M, but it "seems" that the head is the first listed and the wrapping is the second.

Aha. I'll post the answer so that no one else has to reverse engineer it from the tables...... You can tell by the "Name" of the item. The sword I described was named:

Furious Long Sword of Fortitude

"Furious" is the prefix and describes the hilt. "Of Fortitude" is the suffix and describes the Pommel. Even though the +25 Health was the "first" modifier listed, it is the suffix because of the name.
